Tat Tvam Asi
The picture on the left are pink orchid flowers, and on the right a composite of normal human retinas. I took the one on the left with my Iphone but what struck me about it was how the vascular pattern of the flower resembled that of the retinas and the human body I have stared at so long in my clinical practice and while teaching in the anatomy labs in medical school. Life and all biology share a homology, and in the wisdom of the ancient Sanskrit, Tat Tvam Asi. So do you see yourself, perfect as you are, in the flower, in the person in front of you, when you look in the mirror, and in all of life itself?
